MODULE 1 :: Get work in process levels under control.

Learn the formula that will ensure you are bringing in the right number of cars and the best possible work mix to fit your unique circumstances! No operational process works correctly until you schedule and maintain an optimum work in process.

• Create a simple but effective scheduling program.
• Design your “optimum” work-in-process levels to manage to.
• Dealing with tow-ins and non-drives.
• How to schedule “priority customers.”
• Getting the proper mix of small, medium, and large sized repairs.

MODULE 2 :: Repair planning accuracy.

Everyone knows the importance of accurate estimates, but few know how to do it consistently. In module two of Fundamentals of Operational Success, learn our 'one touch' approach to getting repair plans right the first time.

• Triage & scheduling appraisals.
• Blueprint Appraisal Method for higher profit.
• Enhanced Repair Appraisals for lower severity repair jobs.
• Photo tips & labeling.
• Incorporating OEM Procedures into appraisals.
• ADAS Considerations.
• Error-proofing techniques.

MODULE 3 :: Parts management.

Once a shop knows how to maintain the correct levels of work and is consistently performing accurate appraisals, parts management becomes much easier.

However, to avoid costly mistakes in the repair process, there are a basic set of rules to follow. During Module 3, our trainers will help you design your own “Parts S.O.P.” to take back to your shop and implement immediately.

• Kitting and parts cart management.
• Mirror matching.
• Pre-order considerations.
• Improving vendor relations and creating a vendor agreement.
• Parts ordering and receiving best practices.
• Using your management system to manage parts.
